April Is Poetry Month: Weapon of Mass Creation
-Not by BonbonLemon
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12
Droves come, weapons in hand.
Families assaulted and civilians bombed.
Silent tragedies, none aware of the wrong.
Helpless soldiers, bare to the enemy.
Overwhelming shouts and screams, it’s deafening.
Nuked by lies on Instagram posts.
Crippled by drive and career hopes.
Blasts of despair, waves of shame.
Fear and doubt, everyone else to blame.
Then pulled out the hidden ace.
A bomb no devil can face.
Armed with a grand revelation.
The weapon of mass creation.
His life for ours; it’s a divine mystery.
Echoes of love reverberating through history.
The war is over, but the fight’s not done.
Read the word, your spiritual gun.
Inspired by Eph 6:12
